Your Fabulously Positive 2011

2011

2011 WILL be a fabulously positive year, IF you decide, plan and act strategically!

If you do nothing different, it will be just another year.

On January 1st I heard some comments that made me cringe, and I am sure you have heard the same or at least similar comments:

  • Let's see what this year brings.
  • I hope that 2011 will be better than 2010.
  • I hope that 2011 will treat us well.

Why did these comments make me cringe? Because they are comments of losers!!

Make sure you have a copy of this book Champions Are Born, Losers Are Made. Read it often! Order it NOW, and when you it arrives in your mailbox, read it EVERY DAY for the first week.

Yes, all of these comments show that:

  • The person takes no responsibility for their own life.
  • They have a lottery mentally. They live their lives, leaving everything to fate.
  • They are day a dreamer.

So just HOW CAN you make sure that 2011 is a fabulously positive year?

  1. Decide that this is what you want, and you WILL make it happen. (This is YOU taking responsibility for your own life).
  2. Plan your year. Decide what you want to achieve this year, write it down and then write down how you will achieve it.
  3. Act on your plan. Break your annual plan down into 12 action parts. Take one part each month this year and DO IT.
Make 2011 a Fabulously Positive Year!

Negative Statements In Disguise

Iamfree

Do you know that some positive statements are actually negative? This may sound a little strange but let's take a look at a three examples:

  1. I am not going to fear this.
  2. I am not afraid
  3. I am determined to get out of debt.

In the first declaration, what you really mean is that you are not going to allow fear to take hold of you, which sounds positive right?

However your brain catches that word "not" and turns this statement into negative ones. Why? Your brain focuses on two main negative words in those declarations: not and fear (afraid). Both statement No 1 and the sentence above this paragraph fall into these traps.

Declaration No 2 is the same. Again there are two negative words - not and afraid.

But what about the third declaration? I am determined to get out of debt. Isn't this not a positive statement?

The word "debt" stimulates a very negative image in your mind right? That is because the word debt really is a negative word and is definitely linked to negative emotions and experiences in most people's minds.

So you really don't want to use the word "debt" when making positive statements or affirmations.

Here is a real positive statement you could use instead:

  • I am financially free!  or
  • Every bill is paid before time every month.
  • I am living the marvelous financially free lifestyle

What Is Stealing Your Dream?

Racoon

There may be a traitor in your house that is trying to steal your dream of positive living.

Every suggestion that your life may be a failure, that you are not made like those who succeed, and that success is not for you, should be regarded as a traitor. Yes, those suggestions are traitors to your goal of positive living, and to your dreams and life passion.

Expel them from your mind as you would a thief from your house. They ARE both thieves and traitors.
Close your ears to these suggestions.

Anything or anyone who tells you that your life is a failure is a traitor and a thief. They are betraying and stealing your dreams. Don't let it happen!

These suggestions, thoughts and words are out to steal your dreams and your life passion.

How can they steal your dreams?

  • They can ONLY steal your dreams when you entertain these words and believe them.
  • Never believe them.
  • Believe only the positive faith building words that encourage you to press onwards towards achieving that lifestyle of positive living you are seeking to achieve.

Once again, the choice is yours!
You can choose to believe these words. If you do believe them they will pierce your heart like arrows and discourage you from achieving your dreams.

Stop them in their tracks. How?

  • Drive them out with positive words and affirmation.
  • Drive them out with positive, strategic actions that will take you to achieve your dreams.
  • Deliberately believe that you CAN achieve your goals. You CAN achieve that lifestyle of positive living. It IS for you too.

Be encouraged. You ARE a champion. You CAN achieve that lifestyle of positive living where your dreams are becoming a reality.

You don't have to put up with the thieves and the traitors.

The choice is yours.

Destroy That Dream Stealing Enemy!

Womanskickboxing

Have you noticed that there is an enemy in this world who is out to steal your dream, crush your hopes and even destroy your life?

I am sure that you have.

Where does this enemy concentrate his attacks?

Your mind is the real battle ground. If the enemy can control your mind, he has your life.

This may sound rather drastic, but it is true. Everything you and I do, we first plan in our minds.

What are your enemy's main weapons?
What is the most difficult thing to battle in your mind? Words right? Sound simple enough, yet words ARE the weapons that the enemy of your dreams uses.

What is your enemy's strategy?
Everything that you think comes from either an external source or an internal source.

Ok, that sounds obvious right? But here's a questions: What feeds your internal source?

Impressions come to impact your life from what you hear, see, touch, smell and taste.
Your reactions to these external impressions and your decisions concerning them go into your subconscious mind. This is what is feeding your internal source.

So then how does the enemy work? He tries to steer you into making negative decisions so that you will store negative words and impressions (prejudices) into your subconscious mind. These negative decisions create fear in your mind and heart.

Your future decisions will now be based on fear. Thus this enemy is able to stop you from achieving your dreams because of this fear which paralyzes you.

How to reverse the curse of fear: You retrain your brain by -

  • Deliberately exposing yourself to positive faith building impressions. This includes listening to, watching and reading motivational and inspirational teachings that will build your faith.
  • Deliberately making positive decisions concerning the impressions you receive every day.
  • Deliberately rejecting the negative impressions. This means you will refuse to listen to negative conversations and watch violent, negative movies and programs.
  • Deliberately embracing the positive impressions. This also includes choosing carefully the friends you spend the most time with.

In other words:
Carefully choose the things you allow to influence your life.

The choice IS yours. You are in control of what goes into your subconscious mind the moment you decide to be.

Strategic Focus Will Attract YOUR Miracle

Strategy

We live in a world where focus is almost a foreign term in so many areas of life.

When you decide to take the time to train yourself to focus strategically on your goals and dreams, you place yourself in that elite zone of successful people in life.

Five top keys to create the strategy for successful living:

  • Direct your focus. Make sure your principal focus in life is aimed at your dream. Be like a horse with blinkers on. Don't look to the right or the left, but directly (straight ahead) at your target which is your dream. This is strategic focus.
  • Discipline. It takes discipline to stay on course when you hit the mundane or difficult areas of your success journey.
  • Determination, It takes determination to keep going when things get tough. It takes determination to overcome obstacles.
  • Dedication. It takes dedication to your dream to stay on course when you have worked hard, are tired and are not yet seeing results. You will! Just don't give up. As Winston Churchill would say: Never, never, never, never give up!
  • Dream. Continually allow yourself to dream bigger. Your original dreams will grow as you pursue them.

This is what it will take to create the atmosphere in your life that WILL attract the miracles you are looking for.

Your greatest miracles in life are the achievement of your your life's dreams and goals, so:

  • Stay focused, like the horse with blinders on.
  • Direct your focus towards your dream.
  • Do after it and you WILL achieve it!

P.S. No doubt you have more than one dream. That's great. I do suggest going after one at a time.

Above all, I strongly suggest you:

  • Create a strategic plan (designed to reach your dream).
  • Focus on your plan (put everything else on the back burner for a time).
  • Take action on your plan!

Your dream is yours - go after it - and the miracle also will be yours.

Totally Responsible

Daydreaming

There is a very alarming sounding heard across the world every day. It is the sound of too many people playing the "blame game".

What is this "game"?

  • It is the game of day dreaming and complaining that your day dream does not come true.
  • It is the game of not accepting responsibility for the achievement of your dreams.
  • This game is identified by the sound of excuses and jealousy.

But I know that this is not you!

You are not a complainer - you are a champion!

The very first step that you as a champion will take (or have already taken it - congratulations!) is to accept full responsibility for the achievement of your dreams and your success in life.

  • Yes, your success in life is your responsibility.
  • The achievement of your why is your responsibility.
  • The achievement of your dreams is your responsibility. It is not about day dreaming. It is about dreaming and turning your dreams into goals and action.

Three action steps you can take every day that will lead you to achieving your why:

  • Write down your life purpose (you WHY) and your dreams. You will probably update this list regularly.
  • Read what you have written down and choose one are you can start working on now. Create an action plan that will lead you to achieve this one thing.
  • Divide this action plan into daily steps and take one step every day.

It will take discipline, determination and persistence to take that daily step, but this is the way to guarantee that you will achieve your dreams.

  • Take control of your life and your destiny NOW.
  • Accept the responsibility for your dreams and life purpose.
  • Take deliberate strategic action every day and you will be able to enjoy the lifestyle of your dreams.

Your Greatest Cheerleader

Cheerleader

Do you know who your greatest cheerleader is?

You are.

Yes, you are your greatest cheerleader.

Life is like a race.
What is the finishing line? When you reach your destiny and have achieved ALL of your dreams, the finishing line is in sight.

Note: as you pursue your dreams they will grow. So don't worry about achieving your dreams early in life. When you get to that finish line, you will find another one waiting to challenge you.

There IS always more to achieve.
There are many many people who still need you!

Your dream is YOURS.
It is your responsibility. Certainly there WILL be others who will support you along the way, but here is a secret for you:

People are attracted by success, by determination and a positive attitude.

When you are actively pursuing your dreams and life purpose with determination and faith, you will attract support.
  • Do not wait for anyone else to challenge you, challenge yourself.
  • Do not wait for anyone else to encourage you, encourage yourself.
  • Do not wait for anyone else to reward you, reward yourself.

If you stay on the sidelines waiting for someone to come and help you get started, guess when that will happen? Most probably never.

Today I read an excellent article by Frank Kern - he called it his "Rant". It is all about looking for "gurus" to help you with your online business. Even though it is talking about business, the principles that Frank talks about can be applied to any area of your life.  You can read Frank's Rant here. I am sure you will enjoy it.

The One Key That Will Make You A Winner

Atfinish

Paul Tournier, Swiss Physician is quoted as saying:

Sooner or later, those who win are those who think they can.

What is the one key that will make you a winner?

Paul Tournier in the quote mentioned above affirms that this key is:

Persistence.

When you resolve to never give up, you cannot help but win sooner or later.

  • A failure is not someone who tries some things that do not work.
  • A failure is someone who tries something that does not work and stays at that place. He or she gives up with the resolve that they are not able to win.

Thus a failure is a person not an act.

Paul V Harris on Twitter often tweets: You have not failed UNTIL you quit trying.

Then what does it take to win?

Never give up - persist and keep persisting
until you reach your desired goal.

As Winston Churchill would say:

We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. ... We shall never surrender.
